According to the different functions of products packaged with fuses, fuses made of special materials can protect circuits from over-temperature, that is, temperature fuses, also known as thermal fuse links. The fuse cuts off the circuit device by temperature sensing, which can sense whether the electronic products of electrical equipment are overheated during abnormal operation and cut off the circuit to avoid fire. The process steps of temperature fuse installation method are explained as follows.
(1) When using the lead wire for bending, please do not damage the root or lead wire, and do not forcibly stretch, press or twist the lead wire when bending from parts more than 6mm away from the root;
(2) When the thermal fuse link is fixed by screws, riveting or terminals, it is necessary to prevent the poor contact caused by mechanical creep;
(3) The connector should be able to work reliably within the working range of electrical products, and will not be displaced due to vibration and impact;
(4) During the wire welding operation, please limit the heating humidity to the inimum, be careful not to add high temperature to the thermal fuse link, forcibly stretch, press and twist the thermal fuse link and the wire, and immediately cool it for more than 30 seconds after welding;
(5) The thermal fuse link can only be used at the specified rated voltage, current and specified temperature, and special attention should be paid to the maximum continuous temperature that the thermal fuse link can bear;
The use method of temperature fuse is explained as follows.
(1) the rated power and voltage, fusing, service temperature and maximum temperature of the installed temperature fuse shall comply with the parameters specified in the circuit;
(2) When selecting the installation position of the fuse, please be careful not to transfer the stress to the fuse due to the vibration in the product and the position of other components;
(3) When the temperature fuse is blown, the temperature will not rise above the maximum service temperature;
(4) It cannot be used for machines with liquid or humidity above 95%;
(5) The temperature fuse shall be installed at a place where only the heat source of the temperature fuse can be sensed. It is inevitable to set the thermal resistance in the structure. For example, when installing on a heater, please be careful not to connect directly, lest the hot wire be heated to the temperature fuse;
(6) Increasing the current of the temperature fuse and connecting in parallel, or continuously passing through current and overvoltage, the internal contact of the temperature fuse is damaged, which affects the normal operation, so it cannot be used under the above conditions;
