The pin material of the temperature fuse is copper, which has excellent thermal conductivity. Compared with sales, ceramic tubes or plastic shells have lower thermal conductivity. When installing pins (instead of shells) on products, please place your feet where heat may be generated. When designing the fuse installed on the product, please consider balancing all factors and testing the temperature fuse on the product. When the terminal melts, the temperature of the external terminal may fluctuate due to the heat dissipation of the external terminal. Be careful not to leave an opportunity for such problems in design.
When the thermosensitive alloy has a high sensitivity, the one-sided fusion or thermosensitive alloy will completely melt and shrink into two spheres. The following are temperature sensitive alloys of various shapes fused due to temperature rise.

(3) Fusion may be caused by excessive current and rising temperature;
In practice, the pins of thermal fuses usually need insulating sleeves. After bushing, the temperature sensing speed of pin will slow down. You can obtain different thermal sensitivity by changing the material or thickness of the sleeve.
